    Following the WSOP on Twitter

I love the WSOP and wish I could be out there this year, but if you are like me and want to follow the action live -- then hop over to Twitter and follow some of my favorite poker tweeters. I wish some of the bigger names knew how to tweet but many of them talk more about their breakfast than any hand histories. Oh well, hopefully they will learn over time.

But these poker tweeters know how to keep your interest so check em out:
@taopauly - Pauly is one of the original poker bloggers and a very good writer. If you have never read his blog you have to check it out. But now he is also an active tweeter and he can hit some nice barbs in a 140 characters.

@joesebok - Joe is a very active tweeter while in tourneys and he does a real nice job with key hand descriptions in the 140 character format. Also pretty tapped in technology-wise so can go off-topic nicely.

@JustinBonomo - One of the best young players out there and infamous from an online multi-accounting scandal. He has already made it to the Final Table of the 40k event in 2009. Likely to be at a few more this WSOP. Definitely worth a follow.

@JonFriedberg - Another young gun of poker that knows how to tweet what we want to read. He does great hand histories from the table and provides a good sense for how his stack is ebbing and flowing.

@BarryGreenstein - The Bear is a very active tweeter at the tables. I am guessing Joe taught Bear about twittering. If you want to experience the ups and downs of tournament through the tweets of a legendary pro, then check out Barry's tweets. He plays in most of the events too so he is tweeting most days.

@phil_hellmuth - He doesn't tweet as much as Barry Greenstein while at the tables but does tweet enough to keep you interested. Worth checking out.

@shannonshorr - A good young player that provides a lot of details of his tournament runs. Also definitely worth watching because he has had a lot of success in a couple year career in poker.

    For fun and humor:
@Wickedchops - Wicked Chops is a funny blogger who also usually finds some tasty pics of the ladies. At any rate if you want to find out what is happening away from the tables, check out his tweets. Like the one about Doyle Brunson's scooter race with Amarillo Slim down the Rio hallways.
